Steven's Story

Steven ‘Chaos’ Camou was born on March 25, 1991 in Blythe California. Steven grew up as every other youth in a small rural environment taking pride in his community, his family and especially his mother Angela. By his teenage years, Steven took part in social drinking and drug use which was normalized by the culture of a small town. As a young man, Steven dealt with addiction and acceptance of his sexuality by others.

Steven was known as the life of the party and always had so much personality to give. With everything he did, he would put his heart and soul into it. He was always the best at what he loved and found himself as a very outstanding hairdresser. Steven was diagnosed with Schizophrenia in 2016 and over the next five years dealt with mental illness and addiction, trying to find peace from his chaos.

Steven lost his battle with Schizophrenia via suicide on October 27, 2021.

Steven’s wish, even during his darkest days, was to help those dealing with these issues who do not have the proper support.

He now shares some this Peace from Chaos with you in hopes of a better life beyond any pain and crisis.
